Olivia and I traveled through Iceland on Wow Air and loved the airport layover. Decided we HAD to visit. This was the best trip of my life. We lived in a camper van. Drove all the way around the island, following the sunshine.
Went to Nicaragua for a couple weeks around New Years 2015. Last minute and unplanned it was nevertheless awesome. I lost my iPhone in a volcano! Well not in per se, but as far as I can reconstruct most likely right on the rim of Volcan Masaya.
In the spring of 2013, Ray DiCiaccio and I attempted a through hike of the Sierra High Route. We made it two thirds of the way, about 160 miles. The Sierra High Route is an off trail, alpine zone route which requires navigation between landmarks. We survived.
